LEON JACKSON'S NEW ALBUM WILL BLOW FANS AWAY!

Dannii Minogue has claimed fans will be "blown away" by the forthcoming Leon Jackson album, when it is released this Autumn.

Dannii said, "I last saw Leon at the Glamour Awards. I was collecting an award, so it was cool to have him there with me," Dannii is quoted as saying.

"Leon is in the studio recording songs for his debut album. His voice has developed so much - his fans will be blown away. Andy has also had him pumping iron in the gym - so the girls are in for a real treat!"

Leon will release his debut album in October.

We can't wait . . .

SHANADOO - JAPANESE BOY!

Popplastic's eagled eyed Scottish correspondent PopMaximus in his never ending quest for perfect pop has discovered Shanadoo and their amazing version of Japanese Boy during a recent stint at the alter of Pop that is PopJustice.

Shanadoo (sounds like Xanadu) are a Japanese girlgroup signed an A&Rd in Germany. They do remind us a bit of the fabulous I.N.G.

Ooo I miss my Japenese boy . . .

FUTURE SOUND OF LONDON

The power of YouTube!

You hear/see a music video on MTV in the mid 90's, scribble it down on a piece of paper, lose the the bit of paper then find it again 10 years later, then you instantly check it out and listen to it again!

We love YouTube!

The Future Sound Of London - My Kingdom

Even though sometimes you do think to yourself, What did I ever see in that?

Obviously not the case with FSOL, we loved it just as much as the first time 'round, well, at least we did after listening a couple of times. It's go to be Choral chanting that does it.

SO TERRY WOGAN!

ERM, WE MEAN,

SO GRAHAM NORTON!

TV presenter, Graham Norton, is all set to replace Terry Wogan on Eurovision next year according to The Sun.

Terry recently announced that he would no longer be happy to present the BBC’s coverage of the competition after Andy Abrahams disappointment this year.

‘The BBC need an alternative and Graham is their man. He is currently talking to bosses about the Song For Europe show, which will run some time in March next year,’ said an insider to The Sun.

‘Execs have big plans for the show and want to make it more glitzy, with one eye on X Factor.’

LEON JACKSON - NEW LOOK!

OMG! Heat Exclusive!

X Factor winner Leon Jackson might have been hiding away in a recording studio for the past few months, but by the look of things, he hasn’t just been working on his music. As you can see from this behind-the-scenes video – filmed while Leon was doing a torso-revealing photo shoot – the cheeky Scot has got a sexy new image which includes a much better hair do, and – gasp – a hint of a six pack. So what do you think of Leon’s new style, are you loving it or not?

WELLARD BREATHES HER LAST!

Wellard pops her clogs!

Eastenders superdog Wellard has breathed her last breath. After 14 years on the soap Wellard passed away earlier this evening. Bianca Jackson was forced to take Wellard to the vet after Whitney found her unconscious on the floor of their house. The vet told her "she's dying and will had to be put down".

Wellard at his best

Wellard's final moments on earth were accompanied by East17's Stay Another Day. Tears were shed at Popplastic Towers. A fitting tribute, a number 1 song for a number 1 dog!

Popplastic are appalled by the hostile and aggressive actions of The Russian Federation and their invasion of Georgia.

Our thoughts are with the people of Georgia and hope the title of their 2008 Eurovision song might have some significance.

KATY PERRY

Katy Perry - A hot new Popplastic discovery!

Katy Perry apparently came over all tearful after finding out Madonna was one of her fans.

The I Kissed A Girl singer described the moment she found out the Queen of Pop liked her song Ur So Gay as "insane".

"It was insane. I freaked out. My eyes swelled up with fluid, with tears, but I didn't cry. I was just very excited," she said.

The singer then revealed that the admiration was mutual and that Madonna would be her ideal dinner date.

Here she is in action...

ANDY BINNED!

Hallelujah!!!

All praise the Gods of Pop, our prayers have been answered, Andy Abraham has given up his pop career (did he have one!) to concentrate on a new life as a property developer.

We would normally celebrate with a fab track at this point but there weren't any, so we'll make do with Eurovision's "Even If" . . .

POWER TO KATIE PRICE!

We at Popplastic are voicing our support for katie Price!

Official Katie Price aka Jordan Myspace

Katie Price was excluded from the Cartier International Polo event last weekend. More than 35,000 people attended the event but Katie was told she was unwelcome.

Katie described her exclusion from the Polo event as “pure snobbery”. In a blog Price said: "So the Cartier Polo International was happy to invite a man convicted of assault on an elderly couple, dozens of aristocrats and an assortment of would-be actresses in minuscule dresses. But it wouldn't have me." She said: "Unless you're a toff or a wannabe actress, organisers don't want to know."

Katie, we couldn't agree with you more and are proud to support you!

Lets have a bit of Katie and Peter . . .
